The amount of times I’m forced to stop mid workout and go to the bathroom is getting out of hand.
And this one!
in the past 6 months i’ve added: 7 pounds of weight to my body, a crap load of muscle to that too, 100 pounds (or more) to my back squat, and about 10,000 confidence points to my being. i love the way my body is constantly changing and adapting to training. i’ve gone from not being able to do one single push-up, to doing over 40 handstand push-ups without a second thought to the idea. i LOVE being an athlete for the first time in my life and i feel like i’ve just hit the ground running. YAY life. so excited for the future!
you are my inspiration! I hope that in a year I am able to accomplish the same goals as you! congrats on the amazing progess :)

How the fuck is it possible that a nine year old middle class girl, weighs 62 kgs (136 lbs), has high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, has trouble breathing and all the related illnesses, and it’s considered OKAY. This child mirrors the health of a 60 year old. This is not genetics. The health of our society has gone far past genetics and DNA. That excuse has run it’s course. It’s done. It’s worn out. This is a problem created at home, with what we do outside our bodies, not only because of what’s going on within. It’s bullshit. It’s no fair. The right to health is being robbed by and from everyone. I hate it. It makes me cry. It’s unfair, it’s unnecessary and should not be happening. We should be able to run for 5 minutes without getting dizzy, we should look at a green pepper and know its a green pepper and not an avocado. Why are we making excuses? Excuses don’t get results. Excuses won’t get back the health of our world. That’s right, not of the US, not of 10% of the population, but of everyone. If you’re not doing anything, believe me, you’re doing something wrong.
The world is such a beautiful place. But we’re poisoning it, we’re poisoning ourselves and it’s disgusting.
I am strong. I am an athlete. I’m passionate about healthy eating and healthy living. I give 100%. ALWAYS. I practise what I preach because I know what the absolute best version of me is capable of, and yet I can’t begin to imagine all the great things I’m capable of. I will become that person, because it is who I truly am.
